Grapes
The arid summers of northern and central Chile offer the ideal climate for grape production. As a result Chile is the largest grape producer in the southern hemisphere. Varieties include Red Globe, Thompson Seedless, Crimson and Flame. Grape production starts in the north of Chile in November and lasts until August. uvas
