Chile produces more than 20 apple varieties grown throughout the central and southern central regions of the country. Royal Gala, Braeburn, Fuji and Granny Smith are some of the varieties that see the highest levels of exportation.

Early varieties such as the Royal Gala are avalible from January and onward, with controlled atmosphere stock lasting well into October.
